MCPyV T antigens are unable to bind to p53. Transient transfection of U-2 OS cells with SV40 or MCPyV (MCV) large T (LT) antigen cDNA, small T (ST) antigen cDNA, or early region (ER) corresponding to wild-type (wt) or MCCw162 (Tr) tumor-derived sequence. N-terminal (NT) or C-terminal (CT) V5 epitope-tagged constructs were used. (A) Cell lysates (input) were immunoprecipitated with V5 antibody and blotted with p53 (top) or V5 (bottom) antibodies.
