Joint-SUVmean was measured at the ROIs indicated by the green boxes, which included the minimal area between the epiphyseal plates of the femur and tibia in the trans-axial, coronal, and sagittal planes. The blue rectangles indicate the points of the highest SUV of intra-articular space, the ROIs for intra-articular SUVmax are precisely delineated by crooked lines within the green box for joint-SUVmean.
