prfA induction levels in L. monocytogenes strains. The transcriptional change of the prfA mRNA from five additional L. monocytogenes strains belonging to serotypes 1/2a, 3a and 4b at 18°C and 60 min after acid shock to pH 5.0 was measured by qRT-PCR in three independent experiments.
