Lum^−/− mice reduced lung stretch-induced lumican expression. Western blot was performed using an antibody that recognizes the lumican expression and an antibody that recognizes GAPDH expression in lung tissue from nonventilated control mice and mice ventilated at Vt 6 mL/kg for 2 h or Vt 30 mL/kg at indicated time periods.
