Lung infiltrates are associated with weight loss but not severity of arthritis. H-L-g7xK mice were evaluated for the presence of lung pathology, as described in Figure 2. Mice with BALT-like tissue or with any lymphocytic infiltration (LI), including peribronchial or perivascular lymphocytic infiltrates or more BALT-like areas, were compared with mice lacking lung pathology. (A) Clinical score. (B) Hind ankle thickness was measured before the mice were killed, and the right and left measurements were averaged.
