Effect of complement depletion on levels of BAD in RGCs. Paraffin-embedded sections prepared from the eyes harvested from lasered Lewis rats at 6 week post laser were stained with anti-BAD (A-C). Green fluorescence represents the staining for BAD. BAD staining decreased in the CVF treated rats (B) compared to PBS treated lasered rats (a). The levels of BAD in CVF treated rats were similar to those in naïve rats (C). Sections stained with secondary antibody only (negative control) did not show any stain (D).
