(A) Al was monitored by morin fluorescence using confocal laser scanning microscopy. Fluorescence intensity of image analysis was calculated using Image J software. (B) Seedlings were subjected to 0, 25, 50, 100 and 200 µM AlCl3, respectively, in 0.5 mM CaCl2 solution at pH 4.3 for 24 h, and then root tips (0–10 mm) were stained with morin. Images shown in the Figures are representative of more than fifteen seedlings per treatment. Bar = 100 µm. Data are means ± SD (n = 5).
