LPS is required for H4R-dependent sensitivity in a mouse asthma model. Wild-type mice (n = 5–8 per group) were sensitized to ovalbumin i.p. on Days 0 and 14 before repeat aerosol exposure to ovalbumin on Day 21 through 24. The ovalbumin used was either LPS-free (No LPS) or spiked with 1 ng of LPS.
