Inhibition by simvastatin of ADP- or FCCP-stimulated oxygen consumption supported by complex I substrates in skeletal muscle. Skeletal muscle samples were incubated in MiR05 medium in the presence of 1, 15, and 40 μM simvastatin, or DMSO for 1 h.
