The points correspond to the experimental data shown in Figure 3E of V&H. The thin black line corresponds to the j-factor that accounts for axial and torsional orientations of the fragment ends. All calculated curves correspond to DNA persistence length of 48 nm. The calculations were made as described in ref. 12.
