Human metastatic breast cancer cells express inflammatory cytokines. MDA-MB-231 BCCM, prepared as described in the Materials and Methods Section, was collected and a Bio-Rad Bio-Plex™ Human Cytokine Assay conducted. Cytokine concentration was normalized to 1 million cells; variation between batches of BCCM was <15%. A representative experiment is shown. Three individual batches of BCCM were assayed per MDA-MB-231 breast cancer variant.
