Effects of repeated contractions on maximum relaxation rate in soleus. Soleus muscles from wild-type and Sln-null mice were electrically stimulated repeatedly using a protocol consisting of 350-ms trains at 70 Hz once every 1 s for a total of 10 contractions, and comparisons were made between the 1st and 10th contractions for −dF/dt. *Significant, P < 0.05 vs. 1st contraction; #significant, P < 0.05 vs. wild type.
