On Day 4 of culture, bone marrow-derived non-adherent cells were treated with medium or Dll4 (5 µg/mL) for 48 h and then activated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS, 100 ng/mL) or ovalbumin (OVA, 100 µg/mL). After 24 h, supernatants were collected and analyzed for interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α contents by ELISA. Results from 3 independent experiments are shown and expressed as the mean ± SEM. ** p<0.01, *** p<0.001 compared to OVA-treated DCs (OVA group). ## p<0.01, ### p<0.001 compared to LPS-treated DCs (LPS group).
