GM-CSF induces MED14 expression in U937 cells. MED14 mRNA (A) and protein expression (B) in U937 cells treated with VitD, GM-CSF (60 pg/ml), or both. MED14 mRNA levels in the cells were tested 6 h after stimulation by real-time PCR and were normalized to β-actin mRNA. MED14 protein expression by the cells was measured 24 h after stimulation. Whole cell extracts were blotted with antibodies against MED14 and β-actin. Images are representative of three independent experiments.
