Prior CORT exposure persistently decreased sucrose consumption in a model of anhedonia. (A) CORT suppressed intake of a palatable sucrose solution 1 month after exposure. Interestingly, the highest dose was least effective; further experiments will investigate this finding. (B) In a subsequent experiment, chronic, but not subchronic, AMI and FLX administered subsequent to CORT (25 μg/mL) restored intake.
