(A) Schematic representation of the mouse GAN gene. The targeting vector was generated by replacing a 1kb AscI/XmaI fragment including the first exon by a nlsLacZ/Neo cassette. (B,C) PCR genotyping and Southern blot of EcoRV-digested tail DNA probed with a fragment flanking the 5’ region of the targeting vector.
