SLPI antibody reactivity was scored on a semi-quantitative scale, according to Cordes et al(1). The correlation shown here is statistically significant (P=0.005). When analyzing the SLPI negative (−)cases together with the cases with weak (+) SLPI expression against cases with moderate to strong (++/+++) expression the P=0.01.
