The liver sections from lateral (A) and median (B) lobes were stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) in mice treated with vehicle, carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), CCl4+ Korean red ginseng extract (RGE) 30 mg/kg, CCl4+RGE 100 mg/kg, or CCl4+RGE 300 mg/kg. Accumulated collagen in liver sections was stained by Masson’s trichrome staining. The scale bars indicate 160 μm.
