Findings: Axial intravenous contrast enhanced CT image from the same, which demonstrates a de Garengeot hernia (femoral hernia containing appendix). Note the appendix (white arrow), engorged mesoappendix (black arrow), fluid (arrow head) and surrounding stranding (star), suggests strangulation and possible perforation. Technique: 252 mAs, 120 Kv, 3 mm slice thickness, 100 ml Ultravist 300.
