Fibrous collagen scaffolds fabricated via electrospinning of plant-derived human (A–C) or bovine collagen (D–F). Electrospun scaffolds were spun using (A, D) 12, (B, E) 16, and (C, F) 20 wt./vol.% solutions of collagen in hexafluoroisopropanol. Fibrous human collagen scaffolds were characterized by thinner, more uniform rounded fibers.
