Near-infrared (NIR) cell-based assay performed on the human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC) monolayer to confirm the preferential binding of the IRDye 800CW BoneTag (800CW BT) to developed osteogenic cells. (a) Confluent cultures of undifferentiated and differentiated hMSCs were incubated in increasing 800CW BT concentrations (0–200 nM).
