Data are shown as latency time to enter the dark compartment on the training day (day 1) and the probe day (day 2) of the test. No differences between experimental groups were observed during training days. CNF1-treated apoE4 mice showed an increase in the latency time to re-enter the dark compartment after the electric shock (p = 0.004) compared to all other groups. Results are expressed as mean± SEM, n = 13–14 animals per group (**p<0.002 compared to saline-apoE3, a p<0.048 compared to saline-apoE4 mice).
