The two question subtypes (closed/leading vs. open, and representative vs. expressive vs. check understanding) are different exhaustive methods of characterizing question asking.
P-values are global p-values calculated using the generalized linear mixed models for nonnormal data with random effect (provider and patient level) to compare across 4 topic domains for providers and patients. ‘−’ means because two few counts for the speech act, p-value could not be calculated.
