MDR1 functional study in the Y79 RB cells: Cells were treated with different concentration of curcumin (5, 10 and 20 μM) and vehicle control (0.1% DMSO). Rh123 was added and the cells were incubated for different time intervals at 37°C in the dark. Cells were then harvested and used immediately to measure Rh123 fluorescence using flow cytometry.
