Renal effects of furosemide 0.5 mg/kg bolus + 0.5 mg/kg/h infusion on renal blood flow, glomerular filtration rate (GFR), urine flow, sodium reabsorption, renal oxygen consumption (RVO2) and renal oxygen extraction (renal O2Ex). Furosemide improves renal oxygenation by a decrease in renal sodium reabsorption and RVO2. Data from [5].
