Persistent activation of fibrotic and EMT marker genes in the lungs of Col1a2-CTGF transgenic mice. qRT-PCR revealed a marked increase in the expression of CTGF, TGFβ, their target genes, and the EMT markers Sox9 and αSMA in Col1a2-CTGF transgenic mice compared to wt controls.
