Mice were injected with CR1 blocking antibody (black line) or control antibody (gray line). Five days after injection, splenic CD11b+F4/80+ cells were analyzed for surface expression of CR1 (A) and also were cultured for 30 min in vitro in presence of FITC-labeled OVA-ICs pre-incubated or not with mouse control serum (complement bound ICs) to determine phagocytosis of IC (B).
