Kinetics of oxidatively generated damage at GGG-sites induced by hole injection in the nucleosomal 5′-32P-end-labeled 2AP-modified DNA strands. Oxidatively modified bases were transformed to DNA strand breaks by standard hot piperidine treatment. The cleavage percentages were calculated from the histograms of the autoradiographs of denaturating gels and normalized relative to the total DNA in the same lane.
