LKB1S Ser-399 mutant does not impair its ability to bind MO25α and STRADα. A, HeLa-S3 cells were transiently transfected with LKB1S/mutants alone (left panel) or co-transfected with MO25α and STRADα constructs (right panel) for 24 h. Subcellular fractions were prepared as described under “Experimental Procedures.” The protein level of LKB1S was detected in each fraction by Western blot. Lactate dehydrogenase was used as the loading control for the cytoplasmic fraction, and histone H2AX was used as the loading control for nuclear fraction.
