Purified recombinant EWSR1 directly and selectively binds the HCV CRE RNA in vitro. (A) MBP or MBP-EWSR1 was incubated with ³²P-labeled CRE RNA for 30 min either alone, or in the presence on increasing amounts of cold competitor RNA (either wt CRE or mut CRE), then subjected to UV cross-linking and RNase T₁ treatment.
