Sugar levels in mature seeds of phaseolin-IMT transgenic lines. Sugars were extracted from defatted mature seeds from wild-type Westar (black column) and phaseolin-IMT transgenic lines, Ph1-18 (dark grey), Ph2-15 (white) and Ph3-19 (light grey) and measured by HPLC. Each data point represents mean value of five biological replicates ±SE (standard error). Statistical significance was evaluated with the unpaired Student T-test (*P<0.05 vs Westar).
