LPS induces phosphorylation of Hsp90α at the Y³⁰⁹ residue. BPAEC were treated with 1 EU/ml LPS or vehicle for 4 h, immunoprecipitated with antibody against Hsp90α and subjected to mass spectrometry, as described in materials and methods. There is distinct phosphorylation of the Hsp90α Y³⁰⁹ residue (representative of 3 similar experiments).
