Alignment of the deduced amino acid sequence of Nocardia CAR with a representative sample of putative homologous molecules from other organisms. Identical amino acids are highlighted in black, and similar amino acids are highlighted in gray. The Clustal W program was used to align the above sequences, and Boxshade (setting, 0.7) was used to determine the degree of residue shading.
