Impaired expression of PDZ proteins in the neocortex of BDNF-gene knockout mice. On postnatal day 1 the neocortex was dissected from homozygous BDNF knockout mice and from wild-type littermates. SAP97, GRIP1, and Pick1 protein levels were analyzed by immunoblotting. (A) The expression of β-actin was not affected by the lack of BDNF.
