(A) Primers (indicated by arrows) in exon 1 and exon 3 were designed to test mouse tissue panels for Kcna10 mRNA expression. (B) RT-PCR amplification products corresponding to both splice forms of Kcna10 are detected in the adult inner ear. Expression is also detectable in adult skeletal muscle with the 224-bp product, which lacks exon 2 and is indicated by a single asterisk, more abundant than the 479-bp product (indicated by double asterisks). Faint expression of both isoforms is also evident in E15 and E17cDNA. Actb was used as a positive control.
