(A) Intracellular accumulation of Rh 123 in H460/taxR cells. The cells were incubated with VE, TS, TPD or TPGS at 37°C for 5 h, then 5 μM Rh 123 was added and cells were incubated for another hour. Intracellular fluorescence was analyzed using flow cytometry. Cells that were not exposed to VE or TPGS were used as a positive control. The results are presented as the amount of change in fluorescence intensity relative to control cells. * indicates significant difference compared to the control, p <0.05. Data are represented as the mean ± SD (n=3). (B) Fluorescence images of H460/taxR cells, fluorescence view (left) and normal view (right). TPGS, VE, TS and TPD were applied to H460/taxR cells and incubated for 5 h. Following the incubation, DOX was added to each well and was incubated for an additional hour.
