Statistical comparisons are based on unadjusted linear regression models for diurnal cortisol values, an unadjusted GEE regression model for change in cortisol values over time, and an unadjusted logistic regression model for atypical pattern of change (i.e., increase in diurnal cortisol levels at or below the 25th percentile). Although data transformations were applied in analyses, original units are presented here for easier interpretability.
