Oligonol ameliorated pathological symptoms in a mouse DSS-induced colitis model. Male ICR mice (5 weeks of age) were treated with 3% DSS in drinking water for 7 days. Oligonol (0.5 or 5 mg/kg/day) was mixed in tap water and given orally for 7 days before DSS treatment and 7 days together with 3% DSS.
