Monoiodoacetate (MIA, 2 mg/25 µL) or saline was injected in the left posterior tibiotarsal articulation 14 days before the test. At day 0, a minipump containing MnL4 solution (15 mg kg⁻¹ day) was implanted on the back of MnL4 + MIA-treated rats. TNFα levels were measured in plasma samples by ELISA.
