At five time points over a time period of 3 hours, CFU counts increased dramatically in inoculated milk samples following the addition of enzyme storage buffer [ Inline graphic], Ply187AN [ Inline graphic], and LysK [ Inline graphic]. However, following the addition of Ply187AN-KSH3b [✖], the CFU counts were reduced to, and stayed, at 0% of the enzyme storage buffer control at time point zero, indicating effective killing.
