In groups I–IV, mice underwent a 30-min coronary occlusion followed by 24 h of reperfusion. Heart rate was measured 5 min before coronary occlusion (preocclusion), at 5 and 30 min into the 30-min coronary occlusion, and at 5 and 15 min after reperfusion.
