STS disrupts the positive feedback signalling of the NF-κB/TNF-α pathway and amplification of TNF-α. Cells were incubated with 20 ng·ml⁻¹ TNF-α in the presence or absence of the indicated concentrations of STS for 24 h. (A) Cell lysates and nuclear extracts were prepared, and the levels of cytoplasmic, nuclear and total p65 determined using Western blot.
