Aggregation of proteins from E. coli crude extracts. Extracts from the E. coli wild type (A) and ΔrpoH mutant (B) were treated with diamide (0 to 100 mM) or with heat (H) prior to separation of soluble and insoluble proteins by centrifugation, followed by SDS-PAGE.
