Non-smoker and smoker control subjects have a post-bronchodilator and FEV1/FVC ≥ 0.7 and FEV1 ≥ 80% predicted.

GOLD Unclassified subjects have a post-bronchodilator FEV1/FVC ≥ 0.7 and FEV1 < 80% predicted.
