Significant cortical thinning in the patients with OSA (3.10 ± 0.78 mm) compared with controls (3.17 ± 0.97 mm) after controlling for age and brain size (t = -3.14, P < 0.005). In the box plot, the central rectangle spans the 25th to the 75th percentile. A segment inside the rectangle shows the 50th percentile (median) and whiskers above and below the box show the locations of the minimum and maximum value.
