WT mice were treated with an isotype control antibody (black bar; n = 5) or with an anti-HMGB-1 antibody (shaded bar; n = 5). Seven days after disease induction (A) staining for Gr-1⁺ cells, CD68⁺ and CD8⁺ cells was performed. The number of positive pixels in 6 analysis fields is given. (B) Staining for CD4⁺ T cells was performed. The number of positive cells in 6 high power fields is given. (C) cDNA isolated from kidney samples was analysed for the expression of the respective genes. The fold change compared to WT with isotype control is shown.
