mRNA expression of IL-17A in the CNS was higher acutely than chronically. Real-time quantitative PCR (n = 6) on PSDs 10, 14, 17, and 28 revealed significantly elevated mRNA expression of IL-17A on PSD 14, during acute disease, compared with CFA mice.
