RNase-L is required for optimal induction of cytokine expression following DSS-induced damage. Colon tissue collected from DSS-treated mice at days 5 and 9 (n = 6) was analyzed by qRT-PCR for the expression of (A) IFNβ, (B) IL-1β, (C) TNFα, (D) IL-18 and (E) IL-6 mRNA.
