Dose dependent functional magnetic resonance imaging -blood oxygen level dependent (BOLD) responses to whisker stimulation in the (AD) Ru360 (dose-1=120 μg/kg; dose-2=240 μg/kg) and (EH) Kaempferol (dose-1=1 mg/kg; dose-2=2 mg/kg) treated rats. Whisker stimulation on the right side led to contralateral somatosensory barrel field activation (S1BF; indicated by arrows). Ru360 in a dose dependent manner significantly decreased (A) BOLD activation volume in typical animals and (B) over all animals whereas Kaempferol in the lower dose increased (E) BOLD activation volume in typical animals and (F) over all animals.
