Effect of the IO−3 treatment time on iodate reduction activity of excised rice roots. Rice seedlings (cv. “Nipponbare” and “Gohyakumangoku”) were subjected to 0 and 100 μmol L−1 of IO−3 for 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 days. After the IO−3 treatment, iodate reduction activity was measured.
